I have many hobbies I enjoy. A few of my favorite hobbies include photography, bird watching, gardening and clash of clans. I was thinking about the vast variety of my hobbies. They all have one thing in common, I need something or someone to enjoy the hobby. My favorite hobby of them all is photography. I can’t take enough pictures of nature. I love walking through the woods or on the beach taking pictures of nature. It just fascinates me. The beauty that is around us and many times we take it for granted.
A few years ago, my husband and I decided to change our lives because we wanted to be around nature more and live a simpler life. We put our home up for sale and began looking for homes in a small town named Rogers City. We vacationed there since our honeymoon and fell in love with the beauty within and around the city. Rogers City has many parks and beaches. Every vacation we would plan to go on hikes, bird watching walks and short trips to the local towns. Three and a half years later, we live in Rogers City. Everyday is like a vacation. We took a dream and made it a reality. I love our small town we live in. Everyday I take a few minutes out of my day to enjoy nature. I always hear stories of why people chose to live, work and play in our small town. It makes me smile to know I am not the only one who loves the area.
